RadContour turns the iPad into a radiotherapy contouring trainer — draw with Apple Pencil on real DICOM studies and get scored against expert structure sets.
Boilerplate
RadContour is an iPad app for practising radiotherapy contouring. Users import real DICOM studies — from the Files app or directly from a PACS — contour with Apple Pencil using thirteen drawing tools and on-device AI segmentation, and measure their work against expert reference structure sets with the standard QA metrics: Dice similarity, Hausdorff distance and mean surface distance. The app covers a complete training workflow from import to RTSTRUCT export, including rigid registration with multimodal fusion, dose display, DVH and clinical-goal evaluation. All processing, including AI inference, runs entirely on the device. RadContour is a tool for education, research and technical evaluation — it is not a certified medical device and is not intended for clinical use. It is developed by Reza Mohammadi and launches on the App Store as a subscription with a 7-day free trial.

Technical documentation
The DICOM Conformance Statement documents exactly which services, SOP classes, transfer syntaxes and attributes RadContour supports — including its known limitations and deliberate deviations. It is written for imaging network architects and integrators connecting RadContour to a PACS or treatment planning system.
DICOM adherence does not by itself guarantee interoperability. This document supports a first-level comparison; it does not replace validation testing against the specific systems you intend to connect.
