Terms of Use
Effective 26 July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RadContour application ("RadContour", "the app") and the radcontourapp.com website. By downloading, accessing, or using RadContour you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
RadContour is provided by Reza Mohammadi, Am Sandhaus 14A, 13125 Berlin, Germany (the "provider", "we", "us").
1. Not a medical device
RadContour is a tool for research, education and training. It is not a certified medical device and is not intended for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, dose calculation, treatment delivery, or any decision affecting patient care. Every result the app produces — including hand-drawn and AI-generated contours, registrations, dose displays and evaluations — must be independently reviewed and verified by an appropriately qualified professional using validated clinical systems before any clinical use. You are solely responsible for how you use the app and its output.
2. Patient data and privacy
DICOM data you import is stored in the app's private storage on your device and processed entirely on-device; it is never transmitted to us. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary authorisation and for complying with all applicable privacy, confidentiality and data-protection laws — including the GDPR — for any patient data you import, transfer or export. See our Privacy Policy.
3. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use RadContour. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app except as permitted by applicable law. RadContour includes third-party open-source components used under their respective licences, listed in the app under Settings ▸ About ▸ Acknowledgements.
Your download of the app through the App Store is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA). Where these Terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict on the App Store licence itself, Apple's standard EULA governs; these Terms otherwise apply.
4. Subscriptions
- RadContour is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account is charged within the 24 hours before renewal.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Where offered, a monthly-billed plan with a 12-month commitment runs for the full 12 months and cannot be cancelled part-way through that term; it renews monthly afterwards unless cancelled.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in the Settings app under your Apple Account ▸ Subscriptions. Apple handles all billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds; we receive no payment details.
5. Access codes
We may issue access codes that grant a set number of days of access for evaluation or testing. A code is tied to a single device, may not be sold or transferred, and may stop working after its validity period. Access granted by a code confers no ownership and may be withdrawn.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use RadContour only on devices and networks you are authorised to use, in compliance with all applicable laws and the policies of your institution. You must not use the app to process data you are not authorised to handle.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
RadContour is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement or interoperability. We do not warrant that the app or its output will be error-free, complete, clinically accurate, or compatible with every DICOM implementation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, RadContour, including any clinical, financial or data loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for intent or gross negligence.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; the current version will always appear on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
